Inspiration
We wanted to create a moment of calm in people’s busy lives. Many in their 30s, especially women, are constantly under pressure. What if a soothing voice could bring instant relief?
What it does
When you open the app, one of three 10-second healing videos plays at random. The voice of IkeBonta, a calm and gentle character, helps users unwind. Users can toggle audio, repeat playback, or simply stop and take a breath.
How we built it
We used React for the frontend, hosted it on Netlify, and served the video/audio files via public URL. All assets are optimized for fast loading and mobile use. The UI is minimal — jet black background with blue text — to create an immersive, stress-free space.
Challenges we ran into
Handling audio/video playback across devices was tricky, especially when loading from external URLs. We also had to balance simplicity with functionality, ensuring everything worked without distractions.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We completed a fully working app that anyone can access instantly on the web, without login or downloads. The mood, design, and experience align exactly with our vision of “soft, quiet healing.”
What we learned
We learned how important atmosphere is in user experience — color, timing, and voice all play a role in emotional design. We also improved our skills in media handling and responsive design in React.
What's next for 癒しをあなたに(cv池盆太)Healing for you cvIke bonta
Next, we plan to add favorite tracking with localStorage, support subtitles for accessibility, and possibly evolve it into a visual-novel style experience with scenes and choices. More voices and scenes are also coming.
