Inspiration
We wanted a convenient method of Cutie mandarin delivery.
What it does
The Cutie Courier carries a Cutie to its destination. It will follow a light and turns in alternating directions while stalling.
How we built it
We constructed a dfshop Rover and attached an arduino, board, and lights to it. The code that controls the Cutie Courier was written in native arduino language.
Challenges we ran into
We originally wanted to control the Cutie Courier via Bluetooth, but the Bluetooth receiver was nonoperational.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of finishing our first hardware hack.
What we learned
After encountering issues with the Bluetooth receiver, we learned to think outside the box through experimenting with a photocell sensor.
What's next for Cutie Courier
We hope to implement additional lights and sensors and upgrade the Cutie Courier's autonomy.
