Inspiration

We wanted to create an app that would allow kids to bring creativity back into their lives by harnessing the same energy that build your own adventure books give.

What it does

Creates a game that depending on options and answering math answers correctly, the user makes their own story with different outcomes.

How we built it

Through implementations of functions, loops, if else statements, and time delays, using just basic c++ (since we are beginners in coding) we combined all of these into a function flowchart with different outcomes and challenges.

Challenges we ran into

Flowcharting and coding the different outcomes depending on the specific yes or no input was tedious as we had to also make a solid plan of the the entire play through experience of every outcome.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Integrating functions, coded by the second half of our team, into the main code in order for all functions to run cohesively despite working on different parts separately.

What we learned

Some members of our team learned the basics of C++, despite not being familiar with it. Additionally how to code a backend with multiple running functions and other outcomes to create a product. We also learned a lot of debugging along the way.

What's next for Cutie Attack

Applying a UI to the project and additionally having and adding a plethora of outcomes and endings to create even more unique adventures and learning opportunities along the way. This is only the start.
