What's next for Cutesy Kitties

We will add more levels to the game and make it more interactive. We will expand upon the storyline and the horror aspects to bring more attention to an important issue.

I worked on the-back end. Since it was my first time working with HTML, I had to start by learning the basics. However, I am proud of what we were able to make in a short period of time. I think the idea has a lot of potential and I would be interested in expanding on the project in the future.

Chaitra Shenoy
I worked on inserting the audio to the transition page and the ending page. I had to make sure the audio played automatically as the website was redirected to those pages. I also worked in css to style our website with the art Hannah created.

Rebecca Eason
I provided the overall idea and art for the game. As I was mostly working on the visuals (which got scrapped when we realized my expectations were out of our capabilities), I wasn’t able to work much on the backend, but I did learn a lot of html by looking through various videos and tutorial son how to get started building a website with html.
The idea of the project came from a horror interactive website called “lomando.com”. The starting page is very cute, but the moment you press the start button it transports you to a very different website, one that tests your nerve and knowledge. My aim was to create a game that would transport you to an asylum where you would be treated for your short attention span(aka pitting you against terrifying monsters). To escape alive, you would have to work your way up and out of the strange asylum to escape. Buuuut that’s not exactly feasible as we are beginners at html, so we just locked the player in a rubber room with a rat.
