Inspiration

We originally planned on creating a marketplace for used textiles like ripped pants to help reduce waste in landfills and also allow artists/fashionistas to get some free material

What it does

Our website links you to footprintcalculator.org an already existing website that calculates both ecological and carbon footprints

How we built it

We used python for backend and html/figma for the front end

Challenges we ran into

Tried adding AI for a good few hours never got far with it

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We got ourselves out of a big rut

What we learned

What's next for CUT THE CARBON

Gonna try adding a new AI agent that can help with more alternatives and maybe create our own calculator in website.
