How we built it

We built using react and typescript with component based architecture each feature was developed as a seperate widget and assembled into a cohesive webpage.

Challenges we ran into

The biggest challenge we ran into was debugging css conflicts and layout issues caused by overlapping styling and some invalid HTML.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of our work creating a fully functional and dynamic homepage, our ability to design and style it well and really bring our idea to life.

What we learned

We learned a lot of new frontend technology including react and typescript as well as the importance of scoped css and specific selectors and being conscious of css inheritance and being mindful of what properties are being passed down unintentionally

What's next for Browser Customizable Home Page

We plan to enhance customization and accessibility by adding a settings panel and other modules such as images with hyperlinks and a color-blind mode.
