Cuse World Weather

Inspiration

The unpredictable weather at SU has inspired us to create an application that will take user input and give back weather data from a desired location.

What it does

Takes user input of a city and gives you back the weather data from that location.

How we built it

We built this web application using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. We also used the openweathermap API to retrieve our data.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into challenges with the API retrieving information within a zip code and country code. This desired user input did not work for us so we can only retrieve the data using the city name which lacks specificity.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of getting a web application up and running with a functional interface and API implementation.

What we learned

We learned a lot about the fundamentals of JavaScript and working with APIs

What's next for Cuse World Weather

We plan on adding temperature unit conversion options and zip code entry for location specification.
