Currency Converter

With the rising rate of inflation and some currency devaluation, it is safe to always know how much your currency is worth in the international markets.

The currency converter gives the current exchange rate between different currencies.

Building the application involved knowledge of JavaScript, API call, CSS styling and studying the API documentation.

The major challenge encountered while building thid project was having to limit the number of times testing API calls because the free version gives a limited number of call request per month.

At the end, completing the project and achieving a simple interface that converts currencies is one to be deeply proud of as well as learning concepts such as declaring an option as selected with javaScript including getting familiar with insertAdjacentHTML.

The currency converter can be used in personal application or business application to get current currency exchange rates. A blog will be written on the steps taken to achieve the application using ExchangeRatesData API from APILayer to further promote APILayer's visibility.
