Inspiration
Cure Cloud was inspired by the need to simplify and digitize hospital operations. Many healthcare systems still rely on manual processes, leading to delays, miscommunication, and inefficiencies. We wanted to build a centralized platform where patients, doctors, and hospital staff can interact seamlessly in real-time.
What it does
Cure Cloud is a complete hospital management system that connects all key roles:
Admin – Manages the entire system, including users, doctors, and hospital data Receptionist – Handles appointment scheduling and patient coordination Doctor – Views and manages assigned appointments Patient – Books appointments and tracks their medical interactions
How we built it
using Django as a backend using React as a frontend Mysql for the database
Challenges we ran into
Managing multiple user roles with different permissions Implementing real-time chat and notifications Ensuring secure handling of sensitive patient data Integrating payment systems smoothly Keeping the UI simple while supporting complex workflows
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Successfully built a multi-role system in one platform Implemented real-time communication features Designed a user-friendly interface for both technical and non-technical users Integrated payment and notification systems effectively
What we learned
How to design scalable and modular systems Handling role-based authentication and authorization Working with APIs and real-time data Importance of UI/UX in healthcare applications Team collaboration and problem-solving under constraints
What's next for Cure Cloud
Adding AI-based appointment recommendations Implementing electronic health records (EHR) Improving security with advanced encryption Mobile app development for better accessibility Analytics dashboard for hospital insights
