Inspiration
Bookmarks on X (formerly Twitter) are a mess. You save great content — threads, articles, insights — but they quickly vanish into an unorganized list you never revisit. We wanted a simple, AI-powered way to turn scattered bookmarks into a structured, searchable, and digestible knowledge base.
What it does
Curate transforms your X bookmarks into an intelligent personal library. It:
- Automatically categorizes bookmarks using AI
- Generates smart summaries and content digests
- Provides fast, AI-powered search to quickly find saved insights
- Gives you a clean, organized view of your saved content
No more lost threads or forgotten resources — Curate helps you extract real value from your X bookmarks.
How we built it
We used:
- The X API to fetch bookmarks
- AI models for content summarization and intelligent categorization
- A simple, clean frontend built for easy browsing and search
- Backend logic for organizing and indexing saved content
- Bolt.new for landing page and presentation materials
Challenges we ran into
- Reliable bookmark fetching and handling API limitations
- Designing AI categorization that feels natural, not rigid
- Balancing simplicity with powerful features
- Managing noisy, low-quality bookmark content gracefully
Accomplishments that we're proud of
- Built a landing page prototype that turns raw bookmarks into an organized, searchable knowledge base
What we learned
- AI can dramatically improve everyday tools with minimal user effort
- Even simple AI features (like smart search or summaries) create real value
- Many people save content but never revisit it — solving that is genuinely useful
- Fast, clean UI matters just as much as intelligent backend logic
What's next for Curate
- More advanced AI-based filtering and topic clustering
- Daily or weekly email digests of saved content
- Integration with other platforms beyond X
- Collaborative bookmarking for teams
- Public launch for anyone who wants to finally make sense of their saved content
