We're fascinated by using code to make art and the idea of making creative code projects that take a life of their own on-chain with an artistic imprint.
CURA is both a DAO on NEAR and a set of tools under development made to support and incentive creativity on-chain. We want to be a community for creative talents
and consumers on one side with an engineering effort on the other side to iterate on ideas until We create something new and fresh that can differentiate NEAR from other chains.
To showcase what we've been working on and exploring we decided to put it together into one repository that is also going to be our first mainnet launch.
The main relevant parts of this project are, compared to a prior state:
- A new design
- The Graph integration
- cNFT contract
- Implement reference NFT standard in AS
- Sandbox tests (...workspace-js incoming)
On top of that, We have been iterating on our Components and Hooks packages.
It is possible to try out the testnet for our first project BSCS (Basics) and see our project playground.
Our full stack is JavaScript related: TypeScript and AssemblyScript.
Challenges we ran into? We believe NEAR is dev-friendly but its infrastructure for devs is still in its early stages; We decided so far to put our efforts into learning, experimenting, and documenting. In our opinion it's the best investment, to be able to deliver when the time comes for it.
Our mid-term goal is mostly to keep building these tools, attract and support a new wave of artists that sees blockhain+creativecode as their canvas.
Thanks for taking the time to click through all of the links!
