Cup of Tea

Inspiration

The mobile app is like a dating app, except it is for people to connect with a stranger in order to get to know them better, by having a conversation with them over a virtual cup of tea.

What it does

Instead of chatting with a chatbot, the user connects with a stranger who is anonymous over some pre-defined topics of interest in order for the user to get to know the world better, one stranger at a time. After the virtual tea session, if they wish, the participants can exchange "virtual contacts" if they wish, so that their true identity can be revealed and they can keep in touch.
