Searching for resources and services to help meet “essential needs” leads to websites with links, which themselves link to websites themselves. This nested scheme fatigues and frustrates the user, as they hop from one destination to another before finally reaching the resource or service to provide them the aid they seek.
*Team 0001 presents our CUNY Student Aid Questionnaire. This questionnaire is an application that centralizes all CUNY and NYC essential needs resources, with the goal of facilitating a less stressful process for students to obtain the assistance they need. *
Instead of scouring the internet or other in-person facilities for information, our application centralizes all website and contacts into one user-friendly page that helps users determine the type of aid they require.
