Inspiration
People of color are disproportionately unemployed and underemployed, with multiple factors as to why this is so. This was the reality for most of my peers, employees, and people in my community. This could have easily been my reality had I not had the circle of influence that helped me to cultivate relationships, provide coaching and mentoring, and sheer direction on how to navigate the world of employment post graduation. I recognize that my experience was unlike most, so I decided to create that experience and more for others.
What it does
The goal is to create an eco system that brings the student and or graduate, employer, and educational institution together to aid in preparing the student for the workforce in a strategic way, connecting those employers with a qualified pool of diverse candidates, and providing universities a unique way to help market their graduates.
