Inspiration

Culture influences what people watch, listen to, wear, buy, and experience. Yet AI-generated creative concepts often rely on generic assumptions instead of real cultural affinity data.

We envision a new way to explore creativity: an AI agent that discovers unexpected connections between cultural interests and uses those connections to inspire original products, brands, and experiences.

What it does

Cultural Fusion Lab is an AI-powered cultural discovery and concept exploration project.

Our goal is to let users describe a target audience, cultural interest, or creative challenge. The agent will use Qloo's Taste Graph to explore relationships across music, film, brands, and other cultural categories.

Based on these insights, the system is designed to propose original concepts, explain the cultural connections behind them, and help users explore alternative creative directions.

How we plan to build it

We plan to develop a web application integrating the Qloo API with an AI-powered agent workflow.

The proposed process includes:

1. Understanding the user's creative objective.
2. Identifying relevant cultural entities through Qloo.
3. Discovering cross-category affinities.
4. Generating multiple creative concepts grounded in those affinities.
5. Explaining the evidence behind each concept.
6. Allowing users to refine and evolve their ideas.

Challenges we aim to address

The main challenge is turning cultural affinity data into meaningful creative decisions rather than generic AI-generated recommendations.

We also want to distinguish cultural relevance from unsupported predictions of commercial success or virality.

Our vision

We want to explore how cultural intelligence can become an active part of the creative process, helping entrepreneurs, creators, and product teams discover possibilities they might otherwise overlook.

Development status: This project is currently in the planning and API-validation stage. Implementation details and demonstrated results will be updated as development progresses.
