Inspiration

Our team has all experienced the frustration of losing motivation and not having the encouragement to complete what we have to do. We wanted to create an authentic experience that could assist with the trouble we and our peers struggle with.

What it does

Contains a list of tasks the user can customize and keeps track of how many tasks the user completes. We decided to increase the desire to use the app by including a pet, either a plant or animal, that the user must take care of by completing tasks daily. The more tasks completed, the better rewards you are able to receive for your pet or plant.

How we built it

We created the demo on Adobe XD.

Challenges we ran into

It was a struggle to narrow down what we truly wanted our project to cover. We also struggled with ensuring all of our ideas were properly incorporated or enacted.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud that we were able to design, outline, and present an app in under 12 hours.

What we learned

We learned how to use multiple programs, such as Adobe XD and Android Studios. We also learned how to build a strong team and manage our efforts in a short period of time

What's next for Cultivate

We plan on building this app in its entirety to use for ourselves and our friends!
