Inspiration
The lack of exposure that smaller food markets receive compared to a comparative corporation.
Smaller businesses such as, farmer's markets, family owned, and locally owned.
What it does
Cultiv8 allows you to import your typical grocery list, to show you how many items these smaller markets have from your list. After the completing the list, Cultiv8 asks you what you are interested in, such as becoming a vegan, pescatarian, vegetarian, types of markets, and so on.
In the next iteration of Cultiv8, it would analyze all of this information, and then give suggestions to possibly switch to healthier alternatives, or bring the user one step closer to their ideal diet.
How we built it
Started to build from scratch the front-end and back-end of the different pages, using PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
Challenges we ran into
Getting stuck on small bugs, and determining what is worth incorporating onto the website.
