Inspiration

There are random facts from articles and video compilations talking about intriguing cuisines/food. We were surprised by many of the facts.

What it does

This quizzes one's knowledge of facts about food.

How we built it

Using the repl.it online editor, we used python to develop this quiz.

Challenges we ran into

Our planning phase hit multiple halts. On the 11th, we wanted an RPG on being a restaurant waiter. But to make it interesting, we would've needed to import images rather than solely using lengthy text, like a novel. We both weren't sure how to add images nor we would've had the time to illustrate them, so we had to think of another idea. We then thought of a quiz about food.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We've always wanted to program code together, and we finally did. We had to collaborate while calling/texting to share our ideas.

What we learned

We learned about problem solving and planning efficiently, We also learned new facts about food and their origins.

What's next for culinary quiz

We plan on possibly creating a successful score system to track the points the user gained. Points would determine the amount of the user's knowledge on food.
