Inspiration

Meal prep groceries are made easy for the college student. Macros and important nutrient information are not locked behind a paywall.

What it does

You add the recipes and ingredients, and which days of the week you'd look to meal prep for and our app takes care of the rest! Automatically creates a shopping list and displays nutrition information.

How we built it

HTML, CSS, Node.js, Express were the main technology stacks used. No front-end framework for styling was used.

Challenges we ran into

Created the database schema given the size of the application, never using a single framework.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

working excel spreadsheet created to prototype the project.

What we learned

We need to learn Node.js and Express.js.

What's next for Culinary Canvas

User Auth0, dynamic table components, Angular overhaul.
