Talking to the people from the Lake Mac Newcastle Suicide Prevention Network.
What it does
This is a website which people in need can use to help. They can provide a response on how they are feeling, which is then saved and can be accessed on a dashboard by SPN staff. The users are prompted to access resources based on their level of need. Users are also prompted to update their responses based on the severity of their issues. This is all tracked in a workflow. We have also built a supporting mobile app to reach more patients and have better follow up through push notifications.
How we built it
Was built with VSCode and using Copilot AI.
Challenges we ran into
Organisational - not having a clear manager led to ineffeciencies and issues with merging items together.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Having a proof of concept showing some functionality which might spark ideas to the SPN team.
What we learned
The level of functionality from Copilot is scary
