We're the robinhood for infrastructure. Typically, infra investment is privatized to big companies and orgs, but we want everyone to be able to get in on crowdsourced infra projects!

Inspiration

We were talking about how Robinhood brought stocks to the average person. After thinking about what prompt we should tackle, we settled on energy and then the connection clicked. The average person just can't invest in energy projects directly!

What it does

We built a solution that allows the average person full access to an infrastructure investment app.

How we built it

We used vite, vercel, and some frontend wizardry + a handful of existing APIs to create an awesome platform with a bright future

Challenges we ran into

The subject was pretty niche, finding accurate data and finding a way to make the dashboard as accurate as possible while still keeping the hypothetical examples grounded was hard.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're happy that we got the agent to work and properly get access to the user's investment information.

What we learned

We learned a lot about time management, and working as a team. Despite being friends for years this project brought us closer together!

What's next for ctrl

This is tentative on feedback from experts in this field, but we'd love to pursue this front in democratizing infrastructure!
