Inspiration
- conversations with real people in the clinical trials industry
What it does
- One stop hub since many trials are spread across over 10-15 different technologies
- Makes the patient recruitment and checking-in process simpler, reducing burden and increasing the patient pool by letting patients know what trials exist and automatically matching them to trials that they are a good fit for, with actual match scores that tell them how good of a fit they are for certain trials
- Patients can also access many other features including the ability to directly communicate with clinical trial conductors and respond to follow-ups, as well as viewing their place in the pipeline and some data (if the study requires confidentiality of this data or blinding then the trials can hide it)
- Aside from patient features, there is also a side of this platform for trial conductors. They are able to see their patients' information and key statistics and analytics (including an algorithmically computed patient drop-out score) from them, among other features.
Challenges we ran into
- Database creation
- Getting the agents, data, and more. complex functionality to work as intended all in one place
Accomplishments that we're proud of
- We have a solid base to continue building on to make this more robust
What's next for CTHub
- Making the existing features more robust
- Fleshing out the use of key agents and algorithms
- New feature development and quality of life
