Inspiration
Website was built for the Colorado state university's outdoor club , the largest student organization at CSU where I am an active member.
What it does
Members and new comers can use this website to find out more about the student organization, sign up for trips as well as contact the club.
How I built it
Mostly HTML,CSS and some jQuery + the Webflow's platform for the layout and for the contact form
Challenges I ran into
Making the website responsive on all devices and screen sizes, the homepage background video was not responsive on Iphone devices until i fixed it.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Embedded a 3D 360 interactive image on the About us page!
What I learned
Practical understanding of page layout and the CSS box model, learnt about form providers and how to incorporate contact forms on your website.
What's next for CSU outdoor club
Embedding a Facebook and Instagram live feed, Improving the design of the navigation bar (Hamburger menu (on phones/tablets) and regular menu (on Desktops) should be within the title div block rather than below it and adding the club's logo to the navbar.
