About the project

Inspiration

I wanted to make it easy for anyone to create neat and tidy layouts for their websites, even if they don’t know how to code. Sometimes, making things look good on a website can be hard, so I thought, “What if there was a simple tool to help with that?”

What I learned

While building this tool, I learned how important it is to keep things simple and clear. I also learned more about how CSS grids work and how they can help make websites look better and more organized.

How I built it

I made a tool called “CSS Grid Generator.” You just type in how many columns and rows you want, pick the spacing, and the tool shows you a preview right away. It even gives you the code you need, so you can just copy and paste it into your website. You don’t have to write any code yourself.

Challenges

One challenge was making sure the tool was easy to use for everyone, even if they are new to web design. I also had to test it a lot to make sure the code it creates works well on different screen sizes.
