Inspiration
Several grandparents who have suffered from dementia.
What it does
Provides an accessible interface for a user to store their memories in a database. This data can be used for later applications like reminiscence. There is also a mode where the app will try to have a guided conversation with the user to provoke memories that can then be stored.
How I built it
Basic HTML/JS/CSS frontend, orchestrate.io for the backend, a Flask app to go between the two, and a lot of luck.
Challenges I ran into
Lots of cross-origin scripting issues.
