For our project we were inspired by the difficulty of maintaining financial responsibility in such a fast-moving society. Especially since we're college students, we have a lot on our plates so a streamlined way to manage expenses would be extremely useful and beneficial to us, and would also be beneficial to the average day-to-day life where people are usually occupied.

In order to make sure Crystl is able to adapt to many different people with different conditions (e.g. disabilities), we decided to utilize Google Gemini to optimize and create a customized experience for our users. For accuracy in our calculations about expenses, we used API's to determine certain expenses such as income tax and average rent based on a person's area (assuming said input is not provided). We also used flask, html, and javascript in order to make it appealing and easily used by our users. In regards to hosting Crystl, we decided to use Amazon Web Services due to how useful and easy it is.

We actually learned a lot throughout it as well since we weren't really knowledgeable in utilizing artificial intelligence for such a large project, and one of our bigger challenges was connecting all the pieces, like the front-end to back-end, towards the end of the project.
