Small and mid-sized businesses are the backbone of India’s digital economy — but they’re easy targets for cyberattacks because they can’t afford big-name security firms or hire in-house experts. At the same time, millions of freelancers and fresh graduates have security skills but no trusted way to prove themselves or get real gigs. CRYPTX was inspired by this gap: *What if we could blend consulting, tools, freelancing, and practical training into one trusted ecosystem — a “Master’s Union” for cybersecurity?

CRYPTX is an all-in-one cybersecurity hub:

• 📊 Tailored Cybersecurity Consulting: Affordable audits, plans & ongoing support for SMBs.
• 🔒 User-Friendly Security Tools: Easy vulnerability scans, threat detection & compliance dashboards.
• 💼 Freelancing Marketplace: Connects vetted cyber professionals to companies with secure payment & rating systems.
• 🎓 EdTech Platform: Teaches real, project-based security skills with live training, certifications, and a community.

✅How we built it

• Designed the web prototype with React & Netlify for quick deployment.
• Created a multi-service architecture: Consultation booking, tools dashboard, freelancer profiles, and course library — all integrated under one simple user interface.
• Used Figma for wireframes & UX flow.
• Research-driven content: Market stats, personas, pricing models.
• First version hosted on Netlify to demonstrate core messaging, services, and roadmap.

✅ Challenges we ran into

• Defining an offering that balances simplicity & technical depth — for both non-tech SMB owners and security pros.
• Designing a trust mechanism for freelancers so companies feel safe hiring unknown experts.
• Finding the right pricing model that stays affordable for small businesses yet sustainable for us.
• Limited time to prototype backend integrations like payment gateways, live dashboards, or live course delivery.

• Clear end-to-end concept covering all real user pain points: consulting, products, talent, and training.
• Built a working brand site that presents the vision cleanly for judges, investors, and early users.
• Defined clear market segmentation — realistic TAM/SAM/SOM for India’s huge SMB base.
• Brought together a team with real security expertise and practical go-to-market strategy.

✅ What we learned

Many SMB founders still don’t know where to start with security — the first product must be ultra-simple and come with human guidance. Trust is critical: peer reviews, verified badges, and partnerships will make or break the freelancer platform. Community-driven learning (like live Q&A, real projects, certifications) has far higher value than static video courses. One-stop platforms for cyber are rare but desperately needed in India’s fast-digitizing market.
