Inspiration

Web3 is powered by the blockchain technology, and Cryptocurrencies play a big role in it. We wondered, could we create an Educational ML Crypto Price Predictor using AI? So we made it! Check out our web app on Microsoft Cloud as well!

What it does

CryptoVerse is an all-in-one streamlit python app that offers a comprehensive platform for predicting various types of cryptocurrencies, engaging with a financial cryptocurrency chatbot, and gaining insightful comparisons between different cryptos with a heatmap. This app allows regular investors to stay ahead of the crypto game by making informed decisions about their investments and leveraging a well-rounded analysis of cryptocurrency in a market that is characterized by uncertainty. It also helps everyone learn about Web3 using our GPT-Powered Chatbot!

How we built it

We built CryptoVerse by leveraging a neural network created using TensorFlow and training it using Yahoo Finance data given within a certain time frame and parameters set by the user. The connectivity between the user-set parameters and the cryptocurrency prediction was made possible by Streamlit. We also hosted it on Microsoft Azure Web Service. And the chatbot was made using Voiceflow...

Challenges we ran into

Some challenges we ran into include controlling the duration that the model takes to add LSTM layers and creating a new model each time the user changes choices. Also setting up Microsoft Cloud took some time as well, but it was worth it!

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of successfully integrating appealing data visualization and a stunningly accurate crypto currency prediction model, in addition to creating a chatbot that is capable of providing well-trained responses to a variety of inquiries, and setting up Microsoft Cloud to host our web app.

What we learned

The entire team learned a lot while working with machine-learning technologies. The majority of the team had little to no experience with neural networks going into making the product so we had to do a lot of teaching each other, researching skills and techniques, as well as following internet guides.

What's next for Cryptoverse

Cryptoverse is looking to expand its accuracy for crypto prediction and increase its confidence in prediction prices further into the future.
