Cryptomeda is an NFT ecosystem that aims to revolutionize the NFT gaming sector with cross-game NFTs connected to the enriching DeFi mechanics, traded on its marketplace.

​​## Inspiration Our team is hardcore gamers driven so the inspiration is coming from the potential of what can be possible in the future with NFTs and not the only in-game sector but for the whole world.

What it does

Cryptomeda is a complete ecosystem with the attractive concept of NFT collectibles connected with Defi mechanics, utilized in different games, and strengthened with community cooperation. Our current goal is to have a strong collectible value for our NFTs and, at the same time, constantly improve their utility and cross-game usability. In addition, we are developing our gaming platform with Cryptomeda games, so our community members can use NFTs and, most importantly, earn valuable rewards while having fun by playing games.

How we built it

NFTs (Heroes and Weapons) have been integrated (into the game) utilizing tailored (specifically developed) web services.

Challenges we ran into

The biggest challenge was to expand the team mostly because there is not very common knowledge of solidity out there, thus we were able to learn everything around blockchain and web3 by ourselves and built services from scratch.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were able to develop EVM Smart Contracts like: Staking, Farming, Vesting, Lotteries using Chainlink VRF, Airdropping, Partner’s specific preferences

NFT EVM SC Features: Create, Merge, Burn NFTs, Upgradable attributes, Randomly pre-generated attributes using Chainlink VRF, Special upgradable attributes assigned to individual partners/projects

NFT Marketplace features: Multi-currency buy, Bidding, NFT Launchpad, Loot boxes

What we learned

Besides updating our actual skills from the dev and art side, we were able to learn more about business, time management, and how to actually run a crypto company

What's next for Cryptomeda

Our vision for 2022 is to have the Cryptomeda ecosystem utilized, upgraded, and expanded. However, we still have a lot of development work we need to finish. In the short term, we need to upgrade our website and implement new features and integrations we are currently working on. For example, unstoppable domain integration, buying TECH with a credit card, new sale features in the marketplace, launching our Mobile P2E game.
