Cryptoffee

Inspiration

Tipping creators with crypto should be as easy as buying them a coffee. We love tools like BuyMeACoffee — wallet-first, lightweight, and easy to embed anywhere.

What it does

Cryptoffee lets creators set up their own crypto tip page in seconds. Fans can send ETH or MATIC directly to their wallet, leave a message, and optionally appear on a public wall of supporters. No logins or smart contracts needed. Just connect your wallet, personalize your page, and share the link

How we built it

We generated the a working prototype using a single prompt on Bolt.new. The app is built with React, Tailwind, Supabase for storage/auth, and WalletConnect for wallet support. We used Wagmi and RainbowKit for wallet UI and viem for direct transactions.

Challenges we ran into

This app was made to be a part of the On-SHoot-Competition, the biggest chanllenge after seeing the result was self control to stop.... for now.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

• Launched a working MVP in hours with zero backend setup using Supabase
• Designed a clean, mobile-first UI that supports dark mode and personalization
• Created a reusable embeddable widget for creators to drop on their sites
• Got the whole thing bootstrapped and styled from a single Bolt prompt — it was kind of magic

What we learned

What's next for Cryptoffee

Phase 2 will include:

• Add Stripe for fiat-to-crypto tips
• Add analytics dashboards (views, tips, etc.)
• Offer Pro features (custom domains, embed themes, NFT badge drops)
• Eventually build a smart contract version with pooled tips or NFT receipts
