Inspiration
This project was inspired by the recent stock market interactions.
What it does
The website allows one to pick between the three of the most common cryptocurrencies and then choose how many shares they would have invested. It then takes information from the last year and calculates how much money one could have made and on which days they would have needed to buy and sell.
How we built it
We worked on a site called repl.it that allowed us to collaborate. We worked on it using Javascript and HTML.
Challenges we ran into
A challenge we ran into was getting the format of the website to work. In addition to this, we also had issue getting the information to print without reloading and disappearing.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The fact that we were able to brush up and learn parts of these languages that we did not know.
What we learned
We learned more about Javascript and HTML, as well as how to get them to work together better.
What's next for CryptoCalculator
We currently do not have many plans, but we will probably update the information in the future and maybe add more currencies.
