🚀 About the Project ::

Crypto is full of hype, influencers, and unfortunately—scams. Many influencers repeatedly pump and dump coins on unsuspecting retail traders, vanishing with profits while their followers get wrecked.

Our project aims to bring transparency and accountability to crypto influencer marketing. It’s a community-driven platform that tracks influencers' histories, allows people to submit evidence of shilling/dumps, and scores them based on integrity.

We want to make it easy for anyone to check an influencer's reputation before following their calls.

💡 What Inspired Us ::

We’ve seen too many people lose money by blindly trusting Twitter/YouTube calls. Often the same influencers repeat this behavior without consequences.

We wanted to build a public, verifiable record to help the crypto community make informed decisions, and to reward genuinely honest influencers with visibility.

🛠️ How We Built It ::

We designed a responsive website with:

Influencer profiles

Publicly submitted evidence (images/links)

Community voting/validation

Scoring system (positive for genuine calls, negative for dumps)

Leaderboards for top 3 most trusted and worst offenders

Tech stack:

Frontend: Next.js /vite + TailwindCSS for modern UI

Backend: Node.js/vite/Express or Supabase for easy real-time updates and auth

Database: PostgreSQL (via Supabase)

Storage: Cloudinary or Supabase for images

Admin dashboard for approving/rejecting evidence

Style:

Dark mode by default

Neon crypto-inspired colors

Sleek fonts like Orbitron (headings) and Inter (body)

📚 What We Learned ::

How to design a user-friendly evidence submission flow

Balancing community moderation with admin controls to avoid spam or false accusations

Handling image upload and storage securely

Designing a transparent, fair scoring algorithm

Creating a visually striking but accessible dark-themed UI

⚔️ Challenges We Faced ::

Defining fair scoring rules that can’t be easily gamed

Ensuring evidence validity—e.g., verifying Twitter URLs and images

Handling potentially large file uploads and user-generated content

Building a trustworthy reputation system without being vulnerable to manipulation

Making the UX clean and intuitive despite lots of data

🌟 Outcome ::

Our platform gives power back to the community. Instead of being at the mercy of hype merchants, users can see who has a history of dumping on followers—and who genuinely shares good projects.

We hope this project helps make crypto a little more honest.
