Crypto Price Predictor

Inspiration

We wanted to create something that would simplify the daunting process of cryptocurrency investing for ordinary people.

What it does

It uses a regression machine learning model to predict the values of current coins in set periods of time (3 months, 6 months, 9 months, etc.)

How we built it

Our frontend was built using TypeScript, while the backend was built with Motoko and Python using Tensorflow.

Challenges we ran into

The main challenge we had was integrating the frontend with the Python machine learning algorithm.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're really proud of the predictive algorithm that we made.

What we learned

We've learned that it's probably best to stick to the guidelines when using a new language like Motoko; using Python along with it was a very big roadblock.

What's next for Crypto Price Predictor

Who knows, we might take it to the market.
