Inspiration
Many people are interested in crytpocurrency investements. However, with the abundace of news media covering crypto, people feel overwhelmed about investing. The Crypto-Media Investments website creates a simplifed list of the top 100 crypto currencies for users to invest into.
What it does
The Crypto-Media Investment Table shows a simple list of the top 100 cryptocurrencies based on ranking. The Cryptocurrencies Information tab displays the Name, Symbol, Price, and Highest Price
How we built it
We used React to build the user interface of the app and functioned as a way to grab any API information it does.
Challenges we ran into
This was our team's first time using react and node, so we learned along the way. Some the API keys we choose either did not work or ran out of limited request.
What we learned
Our team learned how to develop code using react and how to grab API request using react components.
What's next for Crypto-Media Investments
For the next implentation for Crypto-Media Investments, we plan on using news information and social media trends to further catagorize the list of the top 100 cryptocurrencies. We also planned on having live social media feed with a pie graph visualization of cryptocurrency mentions durring the past 7 days.
