Crypto Mayhem revolutionizing gaming through blockchain and AI synergy. Games interwoven with related gameplay mechanics to shape the narrative of our Metaverse. Our project solves the problem of the lack of coexistence of different types of players within one ecosystem related to investors.

User coexistence spans several elements including gameplay, with commissioned personal missions and global events, economic interactions like trading raw materials, currency, and renting NFTs, and a unique unrelated gameplay whereby players can earn $ADRIA tokens through algorithm.

Inspiration

The initial spark for Crypto Mayhem came from recognizing the potential of blockchain technology to revolutionize the gaming industry. Inspired by the desire to blend the excitement of a top-down shooter with the intellectual rigor of a grand strategy game, the team envisioned a platform where these elements are fused within a blockchain-driven economy, providing real ownership and a tangible impact of players' actions on the game environment.

What it does

Crypto Mayhem combines intense action gameplay with deep economic strategy in a comprehensive metaverse. Players engage in both combative missions against alien threats and manage strategic growth of their bases using resources they either gather or trade. The entire game ecosystem operates on the ADRIA token, facilitating trade, governance, and stakes in the game’s development.

How we built it

The game was meticulously assembled using a combination of Unity Engine for game development and the Polygon blockchain for transaction management and NFT integrations. By integrating these technologies, we developed a seamless interface where game actions translate into on-chain events, ensuring gameplay is both dynamic and secure.

Challenges we ran into

  • Scalability: Handling concurrent in-game transactions and interactions on a blockchain was challenging.
  • User Experience: Balancing between complex strategy elements and the fast-paced nature of a shooter game while keeping the interface intuitive.
  • Security and Fairness: Ensuring the blockchain elements were secure and free from exploits, particularly concerning smart contracts and token transactions.
