Crypto Loteria: Polygon Build It Hackathon Cryptocurrencies and blockchain are technologies that were developed to offer financial tools to everyone regardless of their background. This is a beautiful concept that inspired the creators of CryptoLoteria to create a game with diversity and inclusion in mind. This project wants to shine a light on the underrepresentation of the Hispanic community in Tech and particularly in the space of Blockchain. There has been deep interest by many Hispanic communities to get involved with this emerging technology. Countries like El Salvador are even looking for ways to integrate the blockchain into their everyday lives to improve the lifestyles of their citizens. This has created a knowledge gap in these communities and that is a problem Crypto Loteria is looking to help resolve. Apart from providing a fun way to educate members of an underrepresented group, we want to share the beauty and fun of Hispanic culture through a classic game, that is both creative and technically educational. CryptoLoteria is a game that Hispanic communities can use as a vehicle for the young generation to connect with older generations through a classic game that they can use to learn about the terminology needed to navigate the industry.
