Inspiration
We were inspired by the idea of Facebook changing to Meta so we developed a means of using your digital tokens to gate the Metaverse.
What it does
You buy crypto-jewelry NFTs from Shopify using BCH cash only if you own a BAYC (Bored Ape Yatch Club) token
How we built it
We implemented Gated tokens on Shopify using angular as front-end, node.js as back-end and solidity to mint tokens on Eth blockchain
Challenges we ran into
Not having a Shopify Plus partner account impeded our progress
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We were able to have a functioning app using new technologies we learnt during the hackathon
What we learned
Need to have partner integrations with Shopify to launch this app on the Store
What's next for Crypto Jeweler [Gated NFT Token]
We want to make this app launch as a standalone project first before integrating into the Shopify marketplace
