helps you keep track of your investments from the exact time you bought them, instead of an arbitrary number of time like days weeks or months

Inspiration

I basically just made something I would personally find useful, it's sometimes hard to see how good or bad investments are doing since you can only see the price from an arbitrary amounnt of time.

What it does

Right now there's very little functionality but it's meant to keep the price at which you bought your crypto stored in a server, and when you log back in it tells you the percentage it's increased or decreased based on when you bought in.

How we built it

html, css, and javascript, the plan was to use node but due to time constraints I couldn't learn how to do it in time.

Challenges we ran into

api calls are really hard to do and find documentation for in vanilla javascript

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The site is the most responsive site I've ever made.

What we learned

I learned to use the CSS box model and flexbox

What's next for Crypto investment calculator

I'll improve the project once I learn node and api calls, some retouching also has to be done on the front end because one or two things don't behave as they should, also more coins should be added.
