Inspiration

Crypto Gladiator team has been inspired by Pokémon and Cryptokitties game where anyone can fully take advantage of ideal time through gameplay skills to earn tokens as reward and make contribution to the entire ecosystem.

What it does

Enabling every players to earn tokens through skilled gameplay. Players can combat, collect and occupy land to maximize passive income.

How we built it

The whole process can be divided into 2 parts, respectively are on-chain and off-chain, on-chain part is mainly about smart contract built on OEC EVM. Off-chain part includes front-end and back-end, back-end is developed by PHP and java, while front-end is developed by html5 and js.

Challenges we ran into

At the very beginning, it is quite challenging to make sure the seamless data synchronization between off-chain and on-chain.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The product launched for 2 months, increasing scenarios for more diverse gameplay. There was a heavy emphasis on user experience, making the gameplay smoother. Simultaneously, the game was balanced based on amount of players. The game will continue to increase in functionalities and scenarios. a) Enabled players to upgrade equipment & gladiators for more attributes, registered addressed reached 106,102; b) The number of Land Combat has been limited for fair and balanced ecosystems, restricting the manipulation of whales; c) Increased Gladiator SNH system to increase combat effectiveness of various scenarios including Exploration & Endless & Land combat; d) Implemented fraud and data verification system to solve the problems of scripts and data manipulation; e) Deployment testing on other side chains to increase user needs. At the same time, development of gladiators to increase functionality; f) Iterated and updated new versions for many times; g) Project Github is completed, functionalities will gradually become open sourced.
