Inspiration
Am mostly interested in building prediction markets similar to augur but on a smaller simpler scale. Was interested in building a prediction market that is easy to use similar to Uniswap's frontend.
What it does
Allows users to correctly predict the tomorrow's best performing crypto and win.
How I built it
Used svelte on the frontend. Truffle stack for the smart contracts.
Challenges I ran into
Would be cool if Chainlink price feed smart contracts provided a function to get the closest price to a provided timestamp.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Learning svelte and chainlink overall tech.
What I learned
Chainlink - how decentralised oracles work. Svelte - a new way to build fast UIs.
What's next for Crypto Bet
Add more assets like ethereum fast gas price.
