Inspiration

The Rabbit R1 launched during CES this year. That device is a dedicated AI device which acts as a companion. I wondered if I could do the same thing but using CyberSecurity as focus instead.

What it does

A Raspberry Pi hosts a web server which connect to another peer. This webserver can be accessed by the user's device. The user accesses the web server through which they can send messages to another raspberry pi connected to another user. An easier way to explain this is with a fictional real life scenario - A journalist and a whistleblower who want to communicate but do not come in close contact for privacy concerns use their devices to send messages in a coffee shop.

How we built it

It was built using Python and Redis.

Challenges we ran into

Redis implementation and Loss of motivation.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Learning enough Redis to implement functionality and getting my motivation back.

What we learned

Hackathons are really hard(This is my first hackathon). Also, Caffeine is a double edged sword when it comes to working on projects.

What's next for Cryp2

I will work on from time to time but nothing big as of yet.
