A smart plug-n-play device for vehicles that monitors vehicle health, driving behaviour, GPS location, CO2 emissions and rates them using a driving score calculated through machine learning algorithm
Vehicles currently in the market don’t have vehicle-health monitoring systems ,No solution to monitor driving behaviour continuously at each and every moment, Solutions exist to catch bad drivers but there are no additional incentives that are being rewarded for safe and good driving, Thousands of unreported accidents take place every year
CruxoTrack uses the obd port of cars to extract data and this data is used to calculate a comprehensive driving score using a certain set of parameters and the machine learning algorithm.It monitors vehicle health, driving behaviour, GPS location, CO2 emissions and rates them using a driving score and also rewards drivers for driving safely!
I used Apache Spark and OBD sensor for developing this prototype
Getting accurate data was a challenge as well as the incompatibility of some cars as this device uses an OBD port
I finished third at Startup Weekend, Exhibited this project at Innovation Arabia and AI Everything at WTC Dubai. I also got mentored under Young Arab Leaders for realization of this prototype.
Cruxotrack is still in prototype stage and I am working to convert this into a actual product which can be utilized by people to encourage safe driving.
