CRUVGO The car sharing platform

Inspiration What if Africa had its own version of Airbnb, but for cars? Watching Airbnb grow from a small startup into a global platform inspired me to reimagine mobility on the continent. Just as Airbnb turned empty rooms into income, I want to turn idle cars into opportunity.

What it does

Cruvgo is a car-sharing platform that helps people rent cars easily, affordably, and flexibly. Whether you're a traveler needing a car for the weekend or someone with an unused vehicle, Cruvgo connects drivers with cars in their communities—just like Airbnb connects hosts with guests

How we built it

I used Bolt.New to rapidly prototype and ship the MVP, and Supabase as our backend for authentication and database services. As non-engineers, these tools gave me the power to bring my vision to life without a large development team.

Challenges we ran into

My biggest challenge was technical,I'm not a trained engineers, so building a product from scratch felt overwhelming. But I pushed through, learned as i went, and focused on making something functional and meaningful.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

One of proudest moments? Was seing my idea coming to life little by little just by tapping what i wanted to look like and work how want it to work was so cool felt like i was a Magician

What we learned

I learned that you don’t need to be an expert to start—you just need a vision, belief, and the courage to build. The tools are out there. The opportunity is real.

Be everywhere with the money that will will be winning from this competition lol.for real just push engage a little team employe cause I see that can't build an empire alone...,do some marketing stuff for brand recongition, keep improving our systemes and services....then scale...
