What it does

Revolutionising crowdfunding through a decentralized smart contract platform.

How we built it

Like all (?) other Solana challenge participants, we started by developing a smart contract with Seahorse. We then build a NextJS frontend to wrap around the Solana Web3 RPC API.

Challenges we ran into

Smart Contracts are hard and the documentation could really be better. Fortunately, the support from the Solana Crew and all the other teams was amazing! ❤️

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Got working what we needed to within 48 hours, including smart contracts, despite never having worked with them before.

What's next for CrowdLana

Cleaning up tech debt and getting some sleep, maybe not in that order :)

Future

We really feel like Crowdlana could help reach areas where traditional banking systems have failed to give aid. Hopeful with transparency, it improves their growth and innovation.
