Inspiration

Crowdfunding platforms for startups are essential because they offer access to capital, market validation, community building, and early adopter engagement. By providing an alternative funding source, these platforms empower entrepreneurs to pursue their innovative ideas without relinquishing ownership or control. Additionally, crowdfunding campaigns serve as a litmus test for market demand, attracting a diverse range of backers who become emotionally invested in the project's success. This community support, coupled with the global reach of crowdfunding, creates opportunities for startups to thrive and make a meaningful impact on a global scale.

What it does

Crowdfunding for startups operates primarily through online platforms, where entrepreneurs present their business ideas and funding goals to potential backers. Entrepreneurs prepare a compelling pitch, detailing their product or service, target market, and desired funding amount, and then launch their campaign on a chosen platform . Backers, attracted by the project's pitch and potential rewards, contribute financially to support the venture. The campaign typically runs for a set duration, during which entrepreneurs actively promote their project and engage with backers. If the campaign successfully reaches its funding goal by the end of the campaign period, the startup receives the pledged funds, minus any platform fees.

How we built it

It is built on our basic idea and we implemented in the website. here main concentration on donor and beneficiary page. first basically we built login and sign up page ,where every people has to login and sign up. where we get the people count visiting our website. then goes for the donor page ,where they can see the project and if they like that project ,they can donate money as much as possible and for that payment page is enabled. then the beneficiary the one who receives should go under some steps and complete it all ,then only he is eligible for pitching of his project.

Challenges we ran into

Cross-Browser Compatibility: Different web browsers interpret HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code differently, which can lead to inconsistencies in how a website appears and functions across various browsers and devices. Ensuring compatibility with major browsers like Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge can be time-consuming. Responsive Design: Creating a website that looks and functions well on different screen sizes and devices, including desktops, laptops, tablets, and smartphones, requires implementing responsive design principles. This involves using CSS media queries and flexible layouts to adapt the website's layout and content dynamically. Maintainability and Scalability: As websites grow in complexity and functionality, maintaining and scaling the codebase becomes increasingly challenging. Adopting modular, well-organized code structures, following coding standards and best practices, and using version control systems like Git can help streamline development and facilitate collaboration among team members. Browser Support for JavaScript Features: Implementing advanced JavaScript features or APIs may require considering browser compatibility and providing fallbacks or polyfills for unsupported browsers. Additionally, staying updated with the latest JavaScript standards and features can be challenging due to the rapid evolution of the language. Server-Side Scripting Complexity: Building dynamic web applications with PHP involves handling server-side logic, database interactions, session management, and other complex tasks. Managing code separation, maintaining data integrity, and optimizing database queries are essential for ensuring efficient server-side scripting. Learning Curve: Learning and mastering HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP require time and effort, especially for beginners. Keeping up with the latest web development trends, frameworks, and tools can also be overwhelming, requiring continuous learning and skill development

Accomplishments that we're proud of

As a beginner to this hackathon ,we were able to build the website as much as simple ,and implementing the frameworks ,all this enhanced our skills and we are happy for successfully completing it.

What's next for Crowdfunding-for startups

There is still so many upgrades and designing in all the sub-parts ,making pitching available, making it like mini shark tank website (a show in India).
