CrowdFilter (Diag-Ex)

Inspiration:

The inspiration for this idea has been the most general fear faced worldwide in regards to COVID 19, which is the fear of overwhelming clinics and hospitals. And how all news channels worldwide express their ultimate fear of such overcrowd. We cannot really and fully predict people's behaviour when panicking and thus cannot really guarantee that only people with potential symptoms will be in hospitals and clinics. China has developed and modified such similar systems since the 2003 SARS outbreak. The ways digital innovation helped regions in Asia in this regard can prove very useful against the mutations of such viruses till the COVID 19 outbreak and onward.

Functionality:

Basically an App allowing doctors to handle patients through a digital portal that reduces the number of people waiting in hospitals or private clinics; imagine a screen like that in McDonald's or Burger King outside the clinic or hospital doors with a hand sanitiser next to it and a 2-3 layer diagnosis process:

• first asks patient to check out some symptoms in checkboxes (downloadable mobile app) thus some people wont even need to leave their house, unless their symptoms are classified as potential infection
  
• Second runs a scan (heat signature or whatever needed) thus filtering out people who don't need to worry at all. As a result, some wont even need to go inside and risk sitting around potential infections. this can also cut down the number of people that need to go out of their house and go to a hospital or clinic.
• Third layer can be a direct aid to doctors such as a device that has compartments with the necessary chemicals that can perform multiple tests [types of covid or its associated respiratory infections] simultaneously (not yet clear what it can involve)
