Establishing an intimate network on campus during times of necessity.
What it does
Provides a platform for students to connect through posts of current events on campus.
How we built it
We built the backend using a number of RESTful APIs from the flask application and stored user information in databases using SQLite. In addition, we implemented the eBay API by offering an option for users to link a product listed on the website when offering a solution to a post. We designed the front end and the UI using Flutter and connected it to the backend on an NGROK server.
Challenges we ran into
We had trouble with sorting the result sets from the database in order to send it to the front end application in reverse order.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Getting done with the whole project in a very limited time. Implementing a database to store user information.
What we learned
We learned how to use SQLite within Python as well as being able to implement an eBay API within our application using the given Application ID
