We wanted to investigate "How might we help people avoid crowds ... so they choose public transports rather than non-green alternatives". From Västtrafik we got recorded occupancy data from their commuter trains. Based on this we developed a forecast API and then built a travel planner on top of Resrobot combining the forecast data with the suggested trips.
