Inspiration
Inspired by birds themselves, I brainstormed a robot bird like the one that MIT made that could swim in water and fly in air. Later, I realized this idea is similar to the crow from a show which would be caught in the air and have information extracted from them as well as the meme "Birds aren't real".
What it does
We're making a robot bird with a camera for face recognition. This will help track down criminals if we are given the resources to make it look more like a crow. We've chosen crows since they have excellent facial recognition.
How we built it
We used over 300 dollars in hardware and put together the flight controller, radio receiver, and GPS module. To save money, we've opted for an ESP32 Cam instead of the expensive 100 dollar drone cameras which only stream to goggles which are also 100 dollars.
Challenges we ran into
Spilt tea but thankfully missed the components. Struggles with programming face recognition with python.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I designed a good bird.
What we learned
Maybe pre study a bit more before the project.
What's next for Crow - The Data Collection Specialist
We're going to make mass deployments of Crow(pending tm) to execute mass surveillance in our "murder"(crows in a flock). This way we catch every crime and can use facial recognition for criminals. These crows are able to blend in as cameras that look just like birds so they will be harder to detect.
