Inspiration
I love crafting with my friends while singing along to music. What better way to combine the two than to make a cross stitch piece that can also share music.
What it does
With crosstunes, I can take any of my favorite songs that I want to share, get the code from spotify, and turn it into a cross stitch pattern. I can then make it as my craft and share it as a gift to a friend. Crosstunes takes the Spotify code and reads it in and turns it into a usable cross stitch pattern.
How I built it
I used Python and to use the Spotify uri codes to read the code in. I then used Pygame to create a visual representation that could be read as a cross stitch pattern.
Challenges we ran into
I am not a programmer so many challenges were had with using Python and figuring out how things worked.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I'm proud of how much I learned within 24 hrs.
